Nonetheless, if you have to pick one WWII power to which to give antigravity and a moonbase, the choice is obvious; after all, it's boring if the good guys have all the toys. Of course we will learn more as time goes on, but to those concerned about not getting to keep the games, it is possible that as long as they are downloaded on your switch they stay there. To stop people from paying for a month and downloading all of them and keeping them perhaps with a subscription you will have access to everything online, and can download 3 per month to keep or something like that. Just a thought.
When Nintendo originally announced online multiplayer for classic titles, I immediately thought that they're going to use streaming rather than downloads (doesn't require any work to implement online MP that way). Nvidia has plenty of experience in this area, and the bandwidth requirements would be low for non-HD games. Dropping the VC name makes me think that is more likely to be how it'll be implemented.
Yeah, sure, for downloads. But we're talking about playing on the console when it's already downloaded. If there was no check-up, then you could start the same game with the same N Account on two consoles at the same time if they both were offline.
